Working with London, UK design firm Futuresight, our team of four analyzed Teledyne FLIR’s product portal QA site using heuristic analysis and presented high-fidelity mockups based upon our findings.
Background
Our Industry Design Project (IDP) consists of a five-week internship with Futuresight, a UX design firm that has Teledyne FLIR as a client. The focus of the IDP is the FLIR Portal, a platform supporting the deployment and management of various Teledyne FLIR products, such as infrared cameras and related accessories.
Problem
Futuresight has completed dozens of screens related to the FLIR Portal over the past several months. The screens were published to the QA site, but there may be some inconsistencies in design and usability challenges within the FLIR portal QA pages.
Solution
The IDP Team sought to update the design system and high fidelity screens to address the inconsistencies and improve usability.
